3 sets, 1 Tanakh, many gift bags, and Hanukkah pamphlets were distributed.
On this day, a team of two went to two malls. At the first mall, one set in Hebrew/French was given. One of the team members had made a previous appointment to meet a Jewish man from Morocco whom they had met the month before at that mall. He had received a set then and had distributed some sets to his friends since that first encounter. Meeting up with him, he asked for another set for another one of his friends. He also received Hanukkah pamphlets and gift bags for himself and his friend. A member said she was thankful they were able to speak with him, as they discussed sin and how good works cannot justify anyone, and quoted Jeremiah 17:9. They gave him the Isaiah 53 leaflet and encouraged him to take the time to read it. They spoke of Yom Kippur and animal sacrifices, pointing to the ultimate sacrifice of Yeshua HaMashiach, and about the covenants (conditional and unconditional). They told him about the death of the Messiah prophesied in the Tanakh and shared verses from Daniel and Genesis about Yeshua’s resurrection and second coming. He said that he would take the time to read the passage in Isaiah 53. They hugged each other and wished him Chag Sameach (Happy Holiday).
The team then went to another mall as it was getting late. One Tanakh in Hebrew/English was given to a religious, Jewish woman who was hesitant when they first approached her. When she saw the gift and the Hanukkah pamphlet and received the Tanakh, she was very surprised and touched. She then asked them, “Who is your sponsor?” They told her that the Tanakh was a gift from the SDHS and that the rest of the gifts were from Beth Ariel. One team member shared that she was Messianic. She told the woman that she believed that Yeshua/Jesus was the Messiah and that it had always been the minority who believed this. She then handed her a leaflet of Isaiah 53 and quoted the first line: “Who has believed our report?” They also spoke about the persecution of false Christians toward the Jewish people and about Yeshua’s second coming, how He can make one tsadik, and that salvation is always by grace through faith, referencing Abraham. She listened the whole time and smiled before they left, not before they hugged.
One set in Hebrew/French was given to an elderly Jewish man from Morocco. He received the pamphlet and the gift. When he saw the Tanakh, he said he would give it to his grandson, who is very religious. They shared that God wanted his heart and that it was not about religion. They told him about Yeshua as they gave him the Brit Chadashah and quoted verses about the Messiah’s origin (Genesis 49:10 and Micah 5:2). They encouraged him to read the first book of the Brit Chadashah, which presents Yeshua’s genealogy. He was very thankful and encouraged to listen to the messages on the radio and the internet.
One set in Hebrew/French was given to a Jewish Moroccan woman. There was a brief conversation with her, and as they spoke about Yeshua, she mentioned that He was a good rabbi. The team member then spoke about the divinity of the Messiah and pointed to a passage in Isaiah, quoting 9:6. They discussed sin, reconciliation, and how one could be reconciled to God through Yeshua. They mentioned the trinity and referred to Deuteronomy 6:4. She readily accepted the Brit Chadashah then and shared that she was willing to learn the Word and was happy to receive the Scriptures, so they encouraged her to seek the truth. She was very thankful and kind to them.
One Tanakh in Hebrew/English was given to a Jewish woman, who was very happy and surprised to receive the gift bag, the Hanukkah pamphlet, and the Tanakh. The team encouraged her to return to the word of God, the Scriptures, noting that she had said she was following more of the rabbinical traditions. The team discussed God’s covenants, including His unconditional covenant of the Mosaic law, and explained that blessings and curses would depend on obedience or disobedience. They shared that all curses are removed by Yeshua when one puts their faith in Him, and that all sins are then forgiven. They emphasized the importance of knowing the prophecies regarding the Messiah so that one could recognize who He was. One team member shared that she believed Yeshua was the Messiah and encouraged the woman to seek the truth, as God continually calls people to repentance. They discussed antisemitism, noting that the Scriptures describe it as an everlasting hatred and that the “birth pains” were increasing, with the Messiah returning soon to reign in Jerusalem. The woman was told that only a remnant would be saved, and she listened attentively.
The team thanked God for the beautiful outing and for His protection and guidance. They also asked that people continue to pray for the ministry and that the Word of God would be read, leading men to salvation. They also asked for prayer for the salvation of A and his family.
They said it was a true blessing to be at the mall, giving these gifts, as it was the first time out after what happened in Australia. They thanked God that the doors were wide open for them to give the gifts during the troublesome times.

1 set, 3 Tanakh, and 1 Bible were given.
It was a very windy and cold day, but they thanked God for being able to go out on the last day of Hanukkah. They had a few conversations because of the weather, but they did go to two different malls. At the first mall, two Tanakhs were given (one in Hebrew and the other in Hebrew/French). They approached a Jewish woman with her mother, and both spoke French. They were each given a pamphlet and a Hanukkah gift bag, and then offered the Hebrew Scriptures. The daughter took a set in Hebrew and was surprised to receive the New Testament. However, the mother did not want the set. Moments later, as the team was speaking to someone else, the mother and daughter stopped their car in front of them and returned the New Testament, requesting another Tanakh in Hebrew/French. They were thankful for these beautiful gifts.
There was a brief conversation with a Gentile man who shared that he taught the word but is not a pastor. He received the antisemitism pamphlet. When they shared that they were going to a Messianic congregation, he asked if it was Beth Ariel. He told them that he used to listen to the messages, so they encouraged him to listen again and gave him a Beth Ariel card.
A Hanukkah pamphlet and a gift bag were given to a young, Jewish, religious woman. She was very thankful to receive the gifts and said she had a Tanakh. They spoke with her about the importance of reading the Tanakh (as there are so many books now) because it is the true word of God. The team told her that everything in the Tanakh addresses what is happening in the world and antisemitism. They spoke about Jacob’s trouble and the importance of recognizing the Messiah, noting that many prophecies have been written so that one can recognize who He is when He comes. She was very thankful and grateful.
Two religious, Jewish sisters received the Hanukkah and gift bags. They had the Tanakh and asked who their sponsors were. They shared that the Holy Scriptures were from the SDHS and that the pamphlets and gift bags came from Beth Ariel. The team took time to share that all the verses cited in the literature were from the Tanakh.
One French Bible was given to a very humble and gentle man who came from Egypt. He received the Hanukkah pamphlet and gift bag because he was interested in them, and he was also given the antisemitism pamphlet. He shared that he was Christian, and one of the team members told him she was Jewish and believed that Jesus/Yeshua was the Messiah/The Christ. The member shared that there was only one God and one way to Him, through Yeshua, and the man agreed. He received a Bible because he did not possess one. He was encouraged to read and listen to the messages given to him (the Beth Ariel card) and was invited to visit the congregation. He was thankful.
At the second mall, one Tanakh was given to a Jewish man. They approached him and gave him a pamphlet and a gift bag. He was very thankful for the gesture, so they handed him the Tanakh. He said he would give it to his grandchildren. They asked him if he had a Tanakh, and he said no. They shared the importance of the word of God and told him he should take it for himself, as he needed it. He decided to take that book, but did not accept the New Testament. He thanked them and had to go because his wife was waiting for him.
One set in Hebrew/English was given to a Jewish man, who was very thankful and grateful to receive such a gift. He also received the pamphlet and the gift bag.
They thanked God for the beautiful outing and thank everyone who prayed. Praise God!
