We have all noticed the actions of those terrorist who last week invaded some areas of Israel and began to kill indiscriminately, even babies. They kidnapped some 190 people some as young as 2 years old.

Israel’s president, Isaac Herzog said that since the Holocaust, he has not seen that many Jews killed in one day. And not since the Holocaust, he says: “have we witnessed scenes of Jewish women and children, grandparents and even Holocaust survivors being herded into trucks and taken into captivity”.

An Israeli emergency responder said, “I saw 20 children shot, burned and piled together in two piles”. This massacre was done with such rage and hatred. The head of the EU explained their evil as an ancient evil.

While this evil is indeed ancient, it has never subsided and the Bible calls it differently; the Lord spoke of it and titled it, the Eternal Hatred or Eternal Enmity. What is most extraordinary is that God attributed this term to an ancient people who actually lived at the very same place where Hamas is today; the Philistines.

And what is most intriguing is that the place, the shape and the size of their territory, does not seem to have changed even from the time of David until this day.

And this word enmity is itself very ancient. It is found only five times in the Tanakh and its first mention goes much further back, even to the creation, being directly related to the coming of the Messiah. It is mentioned in the first messianic prophecy of Genesis 3:15, And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed;

The word enmity is the same word for this eternal hatred or enmity found in Psalm 83. Here we discover the satanic origin of this great hatred.

What happened in Israel last week and is still happening, is the outcome of this hatred especially and first, against God and the Messiah and then against the Jewish people as we will see in the powerful prophecy of Psalm 83.

This prophecy, at first glance, seems to be explaining so well what is happening today in Israel. As we are going to look into this chapter, the current events in Israel, are not the fulfillment of Psalm 83, but they are a warning of the coming accomplishment of this prophecy and of the tribulation that is soon to happen in this world.

Why Psalm 83 is different from today’s events is because in this psalm it is not only one people who attack Israel, as we see today with Hamas. Instead, there are ten of them who will, in the future, form a confederacy and attack altogether. It will be so bad that it will be around this time when Yeshua will come back to save Israel and the world.

They have said, Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation, That the name of Israel be remembered no more. For they have conspired together with one mind; Against You they make a covenant. Psalm 83:4-5

Is this not what we hear today from many nations and individuals and increasingly so as antisemitism soars and will surely increase even more after this war? But even before this war, many others had already spoken these words of hatred.

Pharoah expressed this same defiance when he wanted to kill all the newborn male children of Israel even before Israel became a nation. Haman spoke this same intention when, in the Book of Esther, he wanted to annihilate all the Jews; all of them.

Hitler strove with that same ancient enmity and cunning when he tried to annihilate the Jewish nation.

But history and Bible prophecies demonstrate that all these past, present and future attempts are futile. The Bible affirms that the name of Israel is here to stay as the Lord said in Isaiah 29:8. Here the prophet compared those who want to cut off Israel as a hungry man who dreams. This is what the Scriptures says, he eats; But he awakes, and his soul is still empty; Or as when a thirsty man dreams, And look — he drinks; But he awakes, and indeed he is faint, And his soul still craves: So the multitude of all the nations shall be, Who fight against Mount Zion.

Israel is here to stay and not only now but even into eternity. Have you noticed what is engraved on the 12 gates of heaven? According to Rev. 21:12, we see the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel. The 73 times that the name of Israel is mentioned in the New Testament, the last of which is found in Revelation 21:12, guarantees that her name and her place as a nation, will be perpetuated forever.

And one more important point on the survival of Israel. Have you noticed that Hamas does not attack the church, but the nation of Israel, the Jewish people?

We see that almost every denomination of churches is represented in Jerusalem. How come Hamas does not go after them, especially those who say they are the new Israel?

Hamas does not run after them because they at least understand one truth… they know ethnic Israel and for them the church is not the new Israel. This is simple eschatology 101.

Israel has never been replaced by anyone and they are today still suffering the effects of their election, an election though, which God has never rejected.  And one more time and sadly so, what we are witnessing is a warning, and example of what the prophets say will soon come over this world. Zechariah speaks of not only 10 nations, but all the nations of the world who will turn against Israel. How could all the nations of the world be led to believe that Israel should be wiped out? A global force like this can only be likened to satanic spearheading and it is closer than ever before.

Indeed, Yeshua had a special message to those living there in the end; He told them that when they see these things, to flee to the mountains and in a hurry (Matt.24:16).

The hatred against the Jewish nation is so satanic that the Lord Himself will, during these 3.5 years, miraculously protect a remnant of Israel as we read in Revelation 12. This will begin to close that final seal on antisemitism, with its fulfillment found in the Eternal Order.

So fierce will this period be, that in that same passage, the Spirit even indicates the duration of this time by giving the number of months, 42 months; and the number of days, 1260 days until and finally, Yeshua comes at the Second Coming to save Israel. This time is not far off.
