As we enter the season of the Fall Feasts of the LORD, which point to events yet to come, we are witnessing extraordinary developments unfolding before our very eyes. It is both moving and awe-inspiring to witness this convergence, where the words of ancient prophecy meet the realities of our modern news.
For example, we have often spoken about the four great kingdoms that will rise in the last days, shaping the closing chapters of human history. Even now, they are increasingly defining themselves on the world stage, and coalitions unlike anything we have seen before are forming before our very eyes.
One kingdom which we have not often discussed in the past, is the Arab-African coalition that Scripture says will be led by Egypt in the last days, a coalition the Bible calls the King of the South. The prophet Daniel refers to this king eight times in Chapter 11, describing how this leader and his allies will rise against Israel in the final invasion, just before the coming of the Messiah revealed in Daniel 12. In Daniel 11:40, we read: “He will also enter the Beautiful Land, and many countries will fall.”
In September 2025, in response to an Israeli air strike in Qatar that targeted Hamas leaders, an emergency Arab-Islamic Summit was held, which gathered close to sixty countries. This time, it was Egypt that took a major lead. During the meeting, Egypt said that Israel crossed all red lines and called for a new NATO-style military alliance in the Middle East, an Arab-Islamic task force. This, they said, would provide a collective rapid defense mechanism in case countries were attacked. It looks like the King of the South is rising.
Daniel also tells us that this king will have an agreement with the King of the North, and together they will invade the Land of Israel. Ezekiel speaks of this King of the North and situates him in the land of Magog, today’s Russia. Daniel also tells us that both these kings will fight against the Kingdom of the Beast. Prophecy is becoming clearer as we move forward in time.
Another of these four kings is also rising, and other types of associations are taking place, which well define the coming prophecies of Daniel and John. We have seen that during this same month, on September 3rd, 2025, and for the first time, the leaders of China, Russia and North Korea appeared in public together in a show of solidarity at a massive military parade in Beijing. What we had at this point and together in one place were the King of the North and the Kings of the Orient, whom John mentions in Revelation 16; those who will be taking part in the last war of Armageddon.
China and North Korea may well represent the initial formation of what Scripture calls the Kings of the East. During this military parade, China unveiled a huge arsenal of weapons, including nuclear missiles that have global reach. That is, its nuclear bombs can now strike almost anywhere in the world. In his speech, the Chinese president said that humanity once again faces a choice between peace and war. These are startling words coming from one of the most powerful men on the planet.
This is a coalition of powers that Daniel the prophet must have seen when he mentions these two kingdoms and that of the Antichrist in one verse of Daniel 11:44 saying that, at the very end, “But rumors from the East and from the North will disturb him [that is the coming Antichrist], and he will go forth with great wrath to destroy and annihilate many”. Daniel 11:44
This is at the very end of Daniel 11, just before the description of the Final war and the Second Coming. Daniel indicates that there will be a worldwide conflict between these powers. As for the King of the North, following the prophecy of Ezekiel, if this king is indeed Russia and its coalition, it is at the present time one of the most troubled areas in the world, with continuous war. It is here that we can also see the strong bonds between the King of the North and the Kings of the Rising Sun. It is now estimated that up to 15,000 North Korean troops have joined Russian soldiers on the front lines in Ukraine.
Furthermore, things are escalating today. For the first time since the Ukraine war broke out, Russia sent drones flying close to, and even over, the territories of Poland and Romania, and last week, a few of its warplanes flew over Estonia. Take note that these three countries are NATO member states, thereby directly provoking the NATO alliance, which may represent, or at least foreshadow, the emerging Kingdom of the West. Poland’s Prime Minister said that his country is at its closest to open conflict since WW2. As Yeshua said, there are wars and rumours of wars around us.
Amid all these developments, and in line with the trajectory of end-times prophecies, Israel is becoming increasingly isolated. For example, in just the past few weeks, several European nations have declared that they do not want Israel to participate in the annual Eurovision Song Contest. Ireland threatened to withdraw if Israel participates, and along with it, Spain, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Iceland also threatened to withdraw if Israel takes part.
Spain even went further: its Sports Minister recently said that Israeli teams should be banned from a cycling grand tour. And, listen to what the government of Spain said, and I quote, “Spain doesn’t have nuclear bombs, aircraft carriers —we alone can’t stop the Israeli offensive.”
Some understood that Spain is suggesting that military force should be used against Israel, and this is what Bible prophecies tell us will eventually happen when, as Zechariah 14:2 reads, “For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured.” But as the prophets say, it will be for only a very short time, and after this, there will be a global jud
