Indeed, there has been a lot of movement in the world these past few days, with events that increasingly resemble the final prophecies.

In recent months, we have often recalled these Bible prophecies that tell us that, in the end, just before the Second Coming of Yeshua, all nations of the world will gather in Israel. Two locations are mentioned where this will happen: first in the north, called the Valley of Armageddon, as prophesied by John in Revelation 16:16, and also around Jerusalem, as predicted by Zechariah and by Yeshua Himself in His end times prophecies.

And this past week, the media reported a surprising increase in the desire from many nations around the world to do just that: send troops to Israel. We have discussed before about these foreign troops flocking there in the end times, but the details and numbers are becoming even clearer.

For instance, on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the U.N., thirteen countries voted for a measure that includes deploying an international force in Gaza to help maintain the peace plan and to assist in establishing another country within Israel, the Palestinian state.

And consider this: Indonesia, the nation with the largest Muslim population in the world, has announced that it has trained 20,000 troops to serve as peacekeepers in Gaza. Turkey says that it is now recruiting 2000 soldiers to join what they call the ISF, the International Stabilization Force. Egypt, the leader and whom prophecies called the King of the South, has increased its military at its border with Gaza by deploying an estimated 40,000 soldiers, including armor and air defenses. The United Kingdom has apparently sent a small group of British military officers, including a senior officer. They did not specify the number of soldiers, but they say that this group will be led by a two-star officer, which is a Major General, someone in charge of 10,000 to 20,000 troops. That’s a large number of soldiers.

There are also reports that the U.S., which already has 200 soldiers in the area, wants to establish a military base just outside Gaza. And to add to all of this, on Wednesday, November 19th, Trump said that now, “Everybody wants to be on the board overseeing peace in Gaza, and it’ll end up being quite a large board because it’ll be the heads of every major country.”

But why are so many countries suddenly interested in Gaza? Why is there such a disproportionate focus on that one part of the world? Is it because Gaza is about 75 km or 45 miles from Jerusalem? All of this is not new Bible prophecies, especially the one given by Yeshua Himself when He says in Luke 21:20-21, “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near. Then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those who are in the midst of the city must leave, and those who are in the country must not enter the city.”

The nations are nearing the point of surrounding Jerusalem; their numbers are increasing in this area. However, the nations might think they’re shaping the Middle East’s future, but in reality, they are entering a prophetic scene that God has already authored.

And still faithful to the biblical prophecies’ calendar, while the nations talk about peace, peace, Israel remains at war, especially in the north with Hezbollah; these issues are back in the news. For the past few months, we’ve been hearing about the IDF continuously striking Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon.

Additionally, inside Israel, there are frequent gun attacks, car-ramming assaults, and shootings of Israelis, and according to some estimates, the IDF carried out hundreds of incursions in the West Bank town during 2025.

All these events point to one thing: we are nearing the end. After describing the nations gathering around Jerusalem and outlining the conflict that will engulf the region, Yeshua then declares: “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” (Luke 21:27). This is the end, but it is a glorious one, a triumphant conclusion for all who belong to Him. Personally, I am deeply moved to see how, over the past few years, the world has been following a path long foretold by the prophecies of Scripture.

If there ever was a time to turn to His Word, not just for prophetic insight but for comfort, strength, and reassurance, it is now, today.
