I am more and more amazed to see how Bible prophecies are meeting up with the present and how so much around us seems to be confirming what the prophets predicted would happen before the Second Coming. We have often spoken about the 4 world powers from the Scriptures.
The King of the North which is led by Russia which will trigger the final war called Gog and Magog. The Kings of the East most probably led by China is getting stronger every day by acquiring more weapons and building a very powerful navy.
We often spoke of the Western powers from where the antichrist will surely emerge, but we have not spoken much about the King of the South, the 4th power in the end times. These will probably be led by Egypt who is often called the land of the South. In these past few days, we are seeing many of these countries which will constitute the King of the South, seeking military alliances for security reasons; it too is taking shape.
Because of their common enemy, Iran, this past month officials from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates have been getting together to form a similar security alliance like that of NATO. On the African side, things are also moving fast. In June of this year, Morocco, Ghana, Senegal, and Tunisia got together to train for security reasons. They called this training, the African Lion 22. But they were not alone, for representatives of 30 other countries were with them including the U.S.
The say that this is the largest, and most diverse multinational operation; the time is ripe to the King of the South to now develop in their own military expertise. All the 4 kingdoms spoken by Daniel and John are present for the calling. What is common among these 30 countries which participated is that they are either from NATO, that is from the West or are friends of NATO. Israel was invited to participate in this event as an observer, but Daniel the prophet tells us that eventually, with the Antichrist, the King of the South will invade Israel. This invasion is also described in Psalm 83.
At the same time in Europe, the US is creating more permanent headquarters for themselves in Poland, in Romania and is now working with Spain to increase the number of US Naval destroyers there. Everything around us is shaping up for the final wars as predicted by the Scriptures and it is amazing to see how the veil is slowly lifting up, but in these last days, a little faster than before. As Jesus said in His prophecy of the end times; in explaining the birth pangs preceding the end He says:
When these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near. Luke 21:28
What is happening around us is not coincidences nor accidents. There are too many Bible prophecies that are, after over 2000 years, suddenly raising their warning flags in preparation for the Lord’s soon second coming.
