Magen David on Hebrew Scriptures

Thursday, September 21st

5 English sets and approximately 35 pamphlets were given out

Two women team members were out at a local mall where they shared the gospel with one young man. He was interested in knowing more so they told him to study the Scriptures and especially the Book of John. There he would see how Yeshua beckons people to follow Him as He is the way, the truth and the life.

A French speaking Moroccan Jewish man took the Book of Life pamphlet and was shown where to find our local radio program, Shalom Ariel, in French.

Moving on to do outreach door to door in the community, a lady received the set in English. She was not well, and the team said they would pray for her. She received this with much appreciation.

An elderly man wearing a kippah came outside to greet the team followed by his wife and a younger man, possibly their son. They took the set and studied it and were surprised by its quality. The son took the pamphlet as well and was seen from a distance still reading it at their door. Please pray for this family to receive the truth and acknowledge their Messiah.

A young woman, with dog in arm, greeted the team at her door. She received the set but thinking silently for a minute she returned it saying that her husband would not approve of it. However, she smiled and encouraged them to continue the good work. They met up with her a second time as she was walking her dog and she stopped to talk further concerning the beautiful gift which had been offered her.

A women greeted the team at her door by sticking her fingers through the letter slot and asking what they wanted. Upon hearing that they were offering a free gift she opened the door to take the set, but quickly closed the door and gave a quick thank you.

One lady answered the door via the camera. She was unable to speak with them as she was tending to her baby and asked them to leave the set on the chair outside. She apologized for not opening the door but said she was thankful for the Scriptures.

Another set was given to an elderly woman who was very thankful. Unsure about the Brit Chadashah, she was also explained that it spoke of the Second Temple period. She hesitated a few seconds but as she turned the pages to see if it was in English, she decided to keep both and said thank you as she closed the door.

Praise God for such a lovely and profitable day. The team felt the closeness of God as they walked and were reminded of all those who were praying for them.
