How might we know that we are approaching the end times?

In just these past few weeks, a survey of evangelical pastors was done by the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University and what they found is startling but not surprising; they discovered that 30% of pastors do not believe that their salvation is based on having confessed their sins and accepting Jesus as their Savior.

Furthermore, 37% of them said that having faith, in general, is more important than in what — or more specifically, in whom — one was to have faith. And listen to this one: 39% said there is no absolute moral truth and that “each individual must determine their own truth.”

We can see how easily Yeshua is pushed away from many evangelical churches which were created to uplift His Name and His message. What we see here is that the church in general is following the path of the end times. The Scriptures say; Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith. 1 Tim. 4:1

This is what is happening right in front of our eyes from those who claim to hold the torch of truth, yet they keep many in darkness.

Furthermore, how else might we know that we are in the end times? Another disturbing survey done this past April, shows that while the US is still pro-Israel, this is dwindling with the younger generation. This confirms another statistic done a few years ago. But here also, the numbers are different.

This survey was conducted this past February, by the Pew Research Center. It questioned the Evangelical Christian perception of Israel. What they found out is that the younger North Americans view Israel unfavorably, with some 60% of young Americans being unsympathetic to Israel. While the majority of the older generation still supports Israel, the younger ones, less and less. But this also follows the path of the end time prophecies. While the church of the Tribulation will not only be unsympathetic to Israel, Revelation 17 tells us that she will go even further by actively persecuting her.

So, we ask, why are more young people turning against Israel today? Surely the media influences our perceptions, but more than that, there is one part of the Bible that is being taught less and less in many churches; in fact about one third of the bible. And this one third is all about bible prophecy. Many see prophecies as too controversial, but if we keep up with this opinion, it will work to eventually displace Israel from the Scriptures altogether.

This too is a sign of the end. And along with these things; there is a steady increase of anti-Semitism in the world that is not often reported by the media. Here in Canada, there are approximately 380,000 Jews, representing only one percent of the population, yet members of the Jewish community were victims of 14 % of all reported hate crimes in 2021. This is an increase of 72% over the last two years. About an 8 hour drive south from Montreal, in NY city where 1.77 million Jewish people live, they reported  a 50% increase in hate crimes in the last year, with antisemitic hate crimes up by 114%.

All these things along with many other indicators which are mentioned from this pulpit, are warnings and if there is a time when prophecies are speaking, it is today.
