A petition to keep this school opened
Peniel Messianic Primary School, situated in Tiberias, Israel, has been in operation for the last 35 years and over 500 students have successfully passed through the school. Its curriculum aligns with the Israeli Ministry of Education, but they also include teaching from the Old and New Testaments, as well as biblical values in everyday life. Daniel Yahav, leader of the Peniel Messianic congregation said that they complied with demands and even invested over 200,000$ in their facility which includes a new bomb shelter along with the updating of standards in the fields of technology as well as handicap facilities.
The reason given by the Ministry for the closure is the low enrollment numbers. They want to see two consecutive classes have an enrollment of at least 10 students each.
By closing the school, it stops families, messianic and Christian in allowing their children to have a biblically based education while conforming to all the regulatory standards set by the Ministry of Education.
