Team #1 – Three sets, one Tanakh and one Bible, were given along with many encounters and conversations.
One set in English/Hebrew was given to a mother with her baby boy. She received the set with gratitude and was very surprised by the gift. The team members discussed the antisemitism that is occurring and emphasized the importance of knowing the promises and covenants of God that He has made with Israel. They spoke about their faith in Yeshua and shared that all the prophecies of the Messiah’s first coming were fulfilled, as can be read in the Brit Chadashah. They also shared that He will return to reign in Jerusalem at His second coming. They encouraged her to read the Scriptures and return to the ancient path.
One set in English/Hebrew was given to a Jewish woman. As the team members stood nearby, they noticed she was on the phone. The woman asked the person on the phone to wait a minute. The team members quickly offered her the set. They shared Psalm 119:105 with her: “Your Word is a lamp on my feet and a light on my path.” They explained how the Scriptures can illuminate a person’s understanding, reveal the truth, and lead to it. They explained that everything one needs to know is written in the Scriptures, giving examples such as antisemitism and eternal life through the Messiah. They pointed her to Isaiah 53 and encouraged her to read the entire passage in the Tanakh. She was very emotional and very grateful when she received the Scriptures.
A Tanakh in English and Hebrew was given to a Jewish woman who was reluctant to speak with them. As the team members introduced themselves and offered the Tanakh, she was hesitant to accept it. She explained that she attends her synagogue and makes donations there, and she spoke about the many books she has and her religion (Chabad). The team members explained that this was a gift and that many Jewish books have been written, including the Talmud, the Zohar, and others. They explained that men wrote these books, not God, and that the Tanakh is where she can read His Word. They shared that this book contains promises and covenants God has made to Israel, and that the Messiah is described in specific, detailed prophecies. They encouraged her to read Isaiah 53. At the end of the conversation, she received the Tanakh with a big smile.
The team had a long conversation with an elderly Italian Catholic Gentile man. He was very gentle and attentive as the team spoke, and he had many questions. He told the team members he did not have assurance of his salvation. The team members told him he could have assurance as they shared the gospel with him. The man recognized that he had been in the wrong religion all his life. The man received a track explaining how he could be reconciled with God, along with the Beth Ariel card, which pointed him to where he could listen to the teachings of the Word of God (he already had a Bible). The team members also invited him to come to the congregation, but because of his frail condition, he told them he would not be able to attend. The team members were very touched by this encounter and hugged the man before leaving. He thanked them and was very grateful.
One set in French/Hebrew was given to a Gentile Christian Romanian man, who also received a set for a Jewish friend. He told the team members that he works at a synagogue and has many friends there. He also shared an area where they could bring the Scriptures to the Jewish community. They had a brief conversation about Jesus/Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah. He was very nice and open to receiving the Word. He already had a Bible.
It was a beautiful day, with beautiful weather and beautiful conversations; there was some opposition, but the team members were thankful they could speak, share, and give the Word of God. They also thank all those who prayed and are part of this great ministry.
All the praise is His!
Amen!

Team #2 – Three sets given; one Brit Chadeshah
After gathering the necessary materials, the team met a young Jewish woman. She said she was not religious or seeking the Messiah but was following Jewish traditions and culture. She happily accepted a full set of Scriptures, which the team encouraged her to read. She thanked the team several times for the gift.
A man walking through the parking lot greeted the team in French and started a conversation. He seemed lonely and would have liked to talk at length about various topics. He said he already had a Tanakh, but the team convinced him he didn’t have the Brit Chadashah, and he accepted it. He had originally thought it was a Siddur, a Jewish prayer book. He asked if he could take it to synagogue. The team said he could take it anywhere! They emphasized the importance of humbly seeking God for our needs.
Later, the team met a nice gentleman who told them his name was from the Bible. He was very light-hearted and had a good sense of humor. When the team asked how he was, he said he couldn’t complain. When he first took the Tanakh and then the Brit Chadashah, the team told him he had received two free books, so he couldn’t complain! He chuckled, thanked the team, and smiled as he left.
The team then met an 84-year-old woman whom one team member had seen on a previous outing. She had taken a set then. They asked her what she thought of the books, and she said she had perused them but said nothing more. She was very friendly toward the team, and they wished her well.
The team was packing up their materials when one team member noticed a woman who looked Jewish standing just behind them. The member rushed over and offered her the Tanakh, which she happily accepted after opening it and hearing what was inside. The woman wanted to offer a donation, but the team member said they could not accept it. The team member at the car suggested she return with a Brit Chadashah, since she wasn’t offered one. The woman gladly took it and said she would give the whole set and bag to her son. The team tried to explain that she could have a set for herself, too, but she declined.

Three sets given out
On a warm, sunny day, one team of two went to a store parking lot. After approaching a Jewish couple who said they already had many books, another woman approached the team, curious about what they were offering. She was also Jewish and very enthusiastic about receiving a full set. She even invited one of the members who lives in the West Island to attend a group where Jewish women come together to learn. The team mentioned there were three passages that spoke of messianic prophecy, and she said she was looking forward to looking them up. The woman affirmed that what they were doing was good and wished them well.
The team spoke to another Jewish woman as she loaded her packages into the car and offered her a set. She said she planned to give the New Testament to her son, but the team offered a full set for each of them, which she gratefully accepted.
A couple walked toward the team, and a team member asked if they were from the Jewish community. The husband responded that they came from Lebanon, so the team member gave him an antisemitism tract. The wife went ahead into the store, but the team member continued talking to the man. As they continued chatting, he confessed he was Jewish. As he left, the team told him it was important to return to the Scriptures.
The Team encountered other Jewish people who did not want to take anything from them, some of whom were Orthodox. Those Gentiles whom the team spoke with usually received an antisemitism tract.
Thank you so much for supporting this important ministry with your prayers. Only the Lord of the Harvest grants fruit, so please continue to petition Him for this ministry.
