The team members gave three sets, two Tanakhs and one New Testament in Spanish, plus there was one prayer of salvation. They also had many conversations.

A Jewish woman in a hurry was given one Tanakh in French/Hebrew. She did not want to take the Brit Chadashah. She was very thankful.

Then the team met a very endearing Catholic Egyptian gentile woman who prayed with one of the team members. The team members asked her questions and learned that she was not saved. They shared the gospel and explained how she could have assurance of going to heaven. She was very surprised to learn that one of the team members was a Jewish believer. She said she had never met a Jewish believer and shared that she had worked in the Jewish community for thirty-five years. They explained the importance of knowing who Jesus truly is, as He was a Jew born in Bethlehem. The team members offered her a Bible, and she said she already had one. They hugged each other before leaving and shared with her that, in the millennium, when Jesus returns to reign in Jerusalem, He will bring peace and restore all things.  Isaiah 19:24-25 says: “Blessed is Egypt, My people…” as the team spoke about the remnant in each nation.

Two sets in English/Hebrew were given to a very gentle, humble, and polite Jewish man who was born in Hungary. The team members spoke with him about the difference between religion (which is man-made) and having a relationship with God. They shared that God wants the heart of man as they spoke about David and how He was described as “as a man after God’s own heart.” They quoted Isaiah 57:15, where God says He dwells with those with a humble and contrite heart. The man seemed very touched as he heard these words. The team members shared with him that all men are separated from God because of sin. They shared that Yeshua can remove and forgive all sins, make one a tsadik, and that only He, the Messiah, can change men’s hearts.  He shared with the team members that his daughter has become very religious and was looking to get married to a Hasidic man. The team answered that there are many religions but only one truth in the Scriptures, and he agreed. He received a set for his daughter and a set for himself. He was very thankful and grateful.

The team members met an elderly Jewish man wearing a kippah. When they offered him the Tanakh, he said he already had one. When they offered him the Brit, he said he already had a set. They shared that only the Messiah can make one tsadik, based on Isaiah 53. One team member shared that she was a Messianic Jew, and the man nodded in agreement and was not bothered by it. The team members were very touched by his openness to listen and receive the word. He was polite, gentle, and endearing.

A New Testament was given to a Spanish-speaking woman who spoke only Spanish. One of the team members shared a few words in Spanish with her. When the woman saw the New Testament in her language, she was so happy that she said something in Spanish upon hearing God’s Name. She smiled broadly and was very thankful. The team members were deeply touched by her reaction and gave her a hug.

The team gave an elderly Jewish woman a set in French/Hebrew; she was with her son and told the team she was Jewish and spoke about her grandmother. They received the set with gratitude.

They then gave a Jewish woman a Tanakh in French/Hebrew, and she was very surprised to receive such a gift. As the team members had a small conversation with her, they pointed out the passage in Isaiah 53. They shared about Messiah’s suffering and His two comings, referring to Zechariah 12:10. She then asked them who they believed was the Messiah. The team member shared that they believed that Yeshua/Jesus is the Messiah. They pointed out that Yeshua was a Jew and had fulfilled all the prophecies announced in the Tanakh for His first coming. They shared that it had always been the minority who believed, not the majority. They also spoke about the church and false Christians.  The woman received the Tanakh but did not take the Brit Chadashah. The team members encouraged her to seek the truth for herself. She was very thankful and grateful.

The team members said they had a great outing, with non-stop conversations and no opposition.

They thank the LORD for this great outing.

Praise the LORD!
