One set, including one Tanakh and two Bibles, was given.

On this day, a two-person team visited three different malls because it was quieter than usual. At the first mall, they talked with two friends, a Jewish man and a Muslim Arab man. They discussed Yeshua and explained that salvation can only be found in Him. They handed them an antisemitism pamphlet and a Beth Ariel contact card. The young Jewish man mentioned he had a Tanakh, so they gave him a bookmark and the Isaiah 53 leaflet. However, he declined the Brit Chadashah. The young Muslim man also declined to receive a Bible, but both men were very polite and attentive during the conversation.

The team decided to visit another mall they hadn’t been to in quite some time. When they arrived, they noticed that it was also more quiet than usual, but they chose to stay. One Tanakh in Hebrew/English , and one English Bible, were given to a caregiver who was born in the Philippines. She was caring for an elderly Jewish woman. When they met her, she had a beautiful bouquet of flowers in her hands as a gift for her employer. She was very happy to receive the Tanakh to give to her employer, and she also took an English Bible for herself. She was given an antisemitism pamphlet and the Beth Ariel card. She was very sweet, gentle, and humble.

A young Arab man born in Morocco was given a French Bible. He eagerly accepted it and expressed his gratitude. During a conversation, they shared that there is one God and only one way to God for everyone, regardless of nationality, and that salvation comes only through Yeshua. They also shared the verse in John 14:6, and the young man received both the antisemitism pamphlet and the Beth Ariel card.

They had a conversation with a Jewish, Orthodox man who was wearing a kippa. He received the antisemitism pamphlet and said that he already had a Tanakh, just as they were offering him one. He shared that he relied only on the Torah and not the other books of the Bible. They spoke about Yeshua and how they believed He was the Messiah. They told him that in the Brit Chadashah, the prophecies of His first coming were written in the Tanakh and that these were fulfilled at His first coming. They explained that many other prophecies are still to be fulfilled and will be, when He returns to reign in Jerusalem. They discussed the concept of one Messiah coming twice and examined the prophecy in Deuteronomy 18, noting that the man rejected all prophecies or words given by prophets or recorded in writings. He told the team that he would only believe when he sees three things: the resurrection, the Temple, and peace. They shared the verse in John 5:46: “For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me.” They discussed sin and the fall of man and informed him about the prophecy given by God in Genesis 3:15. They emphasized that unless he recognizes his depravity and the need for a Savior, there’s nothing more they could say to him. He declined any literature but was very polite and respectful of their beliefs. They expressed gratitude to God that His word was shared.

The team met a Jewish woman who works for CJA. She was in a hurry but received the antisemitism pamphlet and the comfort card.

One Jewish woman, who was religious, was with another Jewish woman. She spoke to them from afar, saying, “You should not do that,” and mentioning that it was a Jewish community. They had not spoken to her nor had any contact with her that day. One of the members responded from afar, saying she was Jewish and that the pamphlet they were distributing only contained verses from the Tanakh. They decided to leave at that point and went to another mall.

A set in Hebrew/English was given to a married couple from Hungary. The wife, who was not Jewish, shared that she was Christian, and her husband was Jewish. The team expressed their faith in Yeshua/Jesus, emphasizing that there is only one God and one way to God. One of the team members mentioned she was Jewish and believed in Yeshua. They received the set while one team member told the husband to listen to his wife. They hugged before leaving.

There were many other conversations and pamphlets that were distributed and they thanked God for the beautiful outing and for everyone who prayed. All the glory is His!

3 sets and 1 Brit Chadashah were given.

A team of two was at two different malls that day. One set in Hebrew/English was given to a young Jewish man who was angry when he saw the antisemitism pamphlet. He shared that he was a Zionist and that the land was Israel’s. He said he had a concern that antisemitism would never end. They told him that the land was God’s land and that He had given it to Israel, and that antisemitism would end when the Messiah returned. He was in a hurry to go back to work but received the set, sharing that he didn’t have any money with him, but a member reassured him that it was a gift. When they gave him the Brit Chadashah and spoke about Yeshua, he understood immediately that the team was Messianic. They gave him the comfort card and the Beth Ariel card, and as he thanked them, he left quickly.

One set in Hebrew/English was given to a Jewish woman who was also in a hurry. She received the antisemitism pamphlet, the comfort card and the Beth Ariel card and thanked them.

They met a Jewish man who appeared very sad and quiet. When they approached him and offered him the antisemitism pamphlet, he turned away. One of the team members mentioned that she was Jewish and asked if he was also part of the Jewish community; he nodded in affirmation. He accepted the antisemitism pamphlet and was given a comfort card. He declined a set but accepted the Beth Ariel card as they discussed Yeshua and their belief that He is the Messiah. They explained how He could remove all sins, provide peace and rest, and reconcile him with God.

A Jewish man, already possessing the Tanakh, was given a Brit Chadashah in Hebrew and English. He received a bookmark and an Isaiah 53 leaflet, as they shared that this prophecy was written 600 years before Yeshua’s arrival. They also discussed their faith in Yeshua. They read the first line of Isaiah 53: “Who has believed our report” and mentioned that only a minority have believed this truth. They explained that the Messiah, Yeshua, could make him tsadik and forgive all sins, referencing Isaiah 1:18. He then received the Brit Chadashah, and they pointed out that the first chapter contains the genealogy of Yeshua: son of Abraham, son of David. He was given the antisemitism pamphlet, a comfort card, and the Beth Ariel card, and he listened attentively during the conversation. He expressed thankfulness and gratitude.

During the outing, they met a Gentile man who claimed he was a Jehovah’s Witness. He received the antisemitism pamphlet, and surprisingly, not long after, they met a Gentile woman who was also a Jehovah’s Witness. She told them that she had left the sect. She received the antisemitism pamphlet, and they shared that the Jehovah’s Witness religion was a sect. They said it was good that she left and discussed having a relationship with God through Jesus. She received a Beth Ariel card so she could listen to the messages and was invited to visit the congregation.

At this point, they went to another mall where a Hebrew/French set was given to a woman from Casablanca, Morocco. They had a long conversation with her, and when they offered her the set and she saw the Brit Chadashah, the New Testament, she was very surprised and happy to receive it. She couldn’t believe she had just received a Brit Chadashah. They talked about Yeshua/Jesus being the Messiah and how the prophecies of His first coming were fulfilled in the Brit Chadashah. She mentioned her mother’s name was Miriam and she was a Jew. They discussed her sins and how, through reconciliation with God through Yeshua, her sins could be forgiven. They also shared about Yeshua’s second coming. She received the antisemitism pamphlet, the Isaiah 53 leaflet, the comfort card, and the Beth Ariel card. She was very surprised to hear that their rabbi was from Casablanca and told the team she visits there every year. She was very thankful and grateful.

They said it was a wonderful outing and thanked God for His faithfulness and the privilege to go and share His word. Praise God! All the glory is His!

Second Team

A total of two sets and two Brit Chadeshahs were distributed. About 40 antisemitism tracts and 6 bookmarks were handed out.

The weather was beautiful. Many people waved off the team members, showing disinterest in what we were offering.

A Gentile woman took a set for a Jewish friend; we thought she was Jewish, though.

One man was pleased and interested in receiving a Brit Chadeshah in Hebrew only. He was in a hurry, so we didn’t talk for long.

An Eastern European couple already had a Tanakh but happily accepted a Brit Chadeshah.

We briefly spoke with a friendly French-Canadian woman married to a Jewish man. We pointed out that they could grow closer through faith in the Jewish Messiah. She took a full set and some additional materials. She didn’t realize her children were Jewish because of their father. We strongly encouraged her to visit Beth Ariel, and she said she might come with her daughter.

Two men made disparaging comments about Yeshua but still took a tract on antisemitism and a business card for Beth Ariel.

Another religious man wearing fringes told the team members they were not Jewish, even though both are. He declined any materials.

A Jewish woman said she had lost hope that the Messiah would come. We gave her a comfort card with God’s promises to Israel and told her she could find hope there.

After about two hours, one member met a man claiming to be a security guard who told her she had no right to distribute materials. He wasn’t wearing a uniform, but they decided to go to the car and pray, ending the outing.
