2 Tanakh and 1 Brit Chadashah were given on this day.

A team of two were out on a mildly sunny, slightly warm day at two local shopping malls. At the first mall, they only distributed a few Passover pamphlets. After being there for a short time, a security car arrived and parked close to their vehicle. They decided to take a coffee break and see if the security guard was still there when they returned; however, they chose to move on to the next mall due to the lack of shoppers.

At the second mall, the team had a long conversation with a Gentile man who knew about the Bible and Christianity but had not become involved because he lacked understanding. He stayed with the team as they explained the gospel and the importance of having his sins forgiven. They quoted John 14:6 and Psalm 51, telling him that he needed to be born again to receive this forgiveness. They explained the significance of the cross. Despite their efforts to explain this, the young man was not ready to commit to Jesus. He was grateful for the conversation and accepted a Passover pamphlet. Please pray for him that the veil will be removed from his eyes and that he will accept Jesus as Lord.

They then met a Jewish woman who accepted the Passover pamphlet and a Tanakh but didn’t have time for a conversation. Soon after, they met a Jewish man who was very happy to accept a Brit Chadashah and a Passover pamphlet, but again, there was no lengthy conversation.

The team spoke with an Asian woman who said she was working in the Jewish community. She knew about Christianity, she said, but identified as Muslim. The team took time to explain that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that He is more than just a prophet. They told her that He was eternal God and discussed being born again. They explained mankind’s sinful nature and why it’s necessary to repent and be saved from sin to receive eternal life. The woman listened and thanked them for taking the time to explain, but she said she was not yet ready to make a change in her life.

The team wrapped up their day and wanted to thank everyone who prayed for their outing and safety. They praised God for His protection over them.
