4 sets, 2 Tanakh and 3 Bibles were given plus 2 prayers of salvation
On this beautiful day in June, there were three team members who formed different teams during the outing at the two malls.
At the first mall the first team spoke with a group of 4 or 5 young Ashkenazi, young men who were dressed in black and white. They were able to share about what was going on in Israel and about “Jacob’s trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7). One of the young men nodded his head as he agreed. They offered them the antisemitism tract in Hebrew and one of them took it and began reading it right away but handed it back to the member. They had offered them a Tanakh, comfort card and a bookmark but they declined.
As they were leaving, they saw a young woman with an elderly lady, her grandmother, behind them so the team shared their faith with them. They were offered the Tanakh in Hebrew and Russian but as the woman was about to take it, one of the young men came quickly to talk to her in Russian. Following this action, she stated that her grandmother already had the Tanakh but they did accept the antisemitism tract.
A Tanakh was given in French to an elderly Jewish man, and he accepted it, but he did not want the Brit Chadashah. He received all the literature and the Beth Ariel card. When they told him that he could call the rabbi if he had any questions, he said he attended a synagogue and that his rabbi was able to answer his questions when the time arose. The team was able to encourage him though to read the Word.
Two religious men wearing black and white clothing, at separate occasions received the antisemitism tract in Hebrew. One of them read part of it and said, “good” and as he was leaving he also received a comfort card, and both men thanked the members.
Another Tanakh was given to a man who spoke French. He was very thankful and grateful to take the Tanakh, but he did not want to take the Brit. He mentioned to the team member that he had received the Beth Ariel card earlier and was surprised to see that a certain radio station called Radio Shalom (a former Jewish broadcasting station) was still airing. The team member shared that on that station there were Christian programs as well and encouraged him to listen to the messages of Beth Ariel.
One Russian Bible was given to a Ukrainian woman who spoke very little English or French but used her cellular phone to share with them that she attends a church. She received the Bible with joy and had a big smile as they departed.
A woman from Casablanca received two sets: an English set for her father and a French one for herself. She was so excited and happy to receive this beautiful gift. They shared their faith in Yeshua and how the Messiah can remove all sins for those who put their faith in Him. They gave her a Beth Ariel card and mentioned that their rabbi also came from Casablanca. As she heard his name, she said that it sounded familiar. She seemed to know one of the rabbi’s sisters and so they encouraged her to call the number offered and to listen to the messages on the internet or radio. She was invited to come to the congregation and was told that they would pick her up as well. It was a very touching encounter.
The second team had a long conversation with a couple who in the beginning did not want to talk but ended up speaking with the team for 20 to 30 minutes. They were traditional but not religious. One of the team members shared her faith in Yeshua with the wife and it appeared that she saw things more from a logical and scientific point of view. She said to the team member, “you are more Jewish than I because of the knowledge of the Scriptures”. The other member, a male, spoke with the husband. This man confided that he did not read the Scriptures, but he was gently encouraged to do so. As the team member shared his faith the husband said, “You really believe in what you are sharing” and so this team member was able to pray with and for this man. He prayed that God would touch his heart to know the true Messiah Yeshua. They both received the antisemitism tract and the Isaiah 53 leaflet.
A woman wanted a set in French, so she followed the member to their car to receive this beautiful gift. She was very emotional as she shared with the team member that her two sons were in the IDF. As she was crying, the team member became emotional as well. It was a very moving moment. At the end of the encounter, she told the team member that she would pray for them and those who do this work on a continual basis.
Praise God, a Bible in French was given to a young man from Haiti who also said the prayer of salvation. He was a very humble and gentle soul, and they had a conversation for about 15 minutes where the team member shared his faith. At one point the member asked this young man if he desired to receive Jesus as his Savior and he willingly wanted that, so they prayed the salvation prayer together! It was a very special moment to witness this soul saved by the grace of God.
At the next centre when they arrived, they saw a security car parked in the parking lot, so they decided to go to another part of the mall. Here, they gave an English set to a couple who was in a hurry but received the whole set and said, “Good luck with what you are doing” to the team. They were both very thankful and grateful as the husband thanked them saying in Hebrew: “Todah Rabbah”!
A young man who was standing beside his motorcycle was approached by two team members. He received an English Bible and prayed with one of the team members to receive Jesus as His Savior. Amen! He shared with the team members that it had been a while that he had been seeking God and the truth of His Word. He had many questions on his mind. The team member shared the gospel with him, and they prayed together. A Beth Ariel contact card was given, and he was invited to come to the congregation. It was a great blessing to witness God’s love!
It was a great blessing to be there to witness these wonderful encounters and the salvation of these two precious souls. We thank God for His faithfulness, His love, His grace, mercy and patience, desiring no one to perish but come to faith in Yeshua.
Praise God! All the glory is His! Amen!

Report from Team #1
5 sets, 1 Tanakh, 1 French Bible were given with many pamphlets, comfort cards and several conversations.
The first set was given to a man that came from Lebanon. They handed the antisemitism pamphlet to him and spoke about the situation in the Middle East and shared that man cannot bring or make peace but only through Jesus when He returns to reign in Jerusalem. They told him then, that everything that happened and what will happen is written in the Bible referring to Psalm 83. He told them that he had a Bible, was Christian and that his wife was Jewish. He was offered a gift set with a comfort card. As they tried to explain to him that the Jews are a nation and not a religion he responded by saying that he did not believe that and did not want to go further on the subject. One team member shared that she was Jewish and that she accepted Yeshua (Jesus) as her Messiah, her Saviour. They said that there is only one God, one Saviour Jesus (Yeshua) for all the nations and then quoted John 3:16 to him. He was very thankful and grateful and shook their hands. Before he left, he was given a Beth Ariel card to see where he could listen to the messages.
An antisemitism pamphlet was given to a young Christian woman who did not know what antisemitism meant. They explained this to her and shared that the Bible revealed everything concerning the root of antisemitism, and the everlasting hatred of the Jewish nation. They told her that Jesus was a Jew and that he was born in Bethlehem. She responded by being very surprised and said, “I’m going to read my Bible.” She was given the Beth Ariel contact card to listen and was invited to come to Beth Ariel.
They then approached a religious Moroccan woman. She was very elegant and wore a turban on her head and appeared to be humble. She took the antisemitism tract in Hebrew and she immediately asked which organization they were from. One of the members shared that she was Messianic and about her belief in Yeshua as the Messiah. They spoke about the Word of God, and about when God says that if Israel is as numerous as the sand of the sea that only a remnant will be saved. She was told that it had always been a minority who believed the truth and never the majority and that good works cannot save. She was strongly encouraged to stay in the Word and in the Tanakh. A Beth Ariel card was given to her, a comfort card and the Isaiah 53 leaflet. It was a true blessing to meet this young woman who silently listened and was very attentive.
A man driving his car with loud Mediterranean music was parked near them and as soon as he came out of his car one of the team members asked him if he was Sephardi (because of the type of music that he was listening to). He smiled and responded by saying that he was and was from Morocco. They presented the antisemitism tract and he told them that antisemitism would never end. They were able to share that man cannot make peace, but only the Messiah, Yeshua will when He comes back to reign in Jerusalem. They spoke about the truth of the Word of God, prophecies that were fulfilled, and those that will come to pass. They gave him a set which he gladly accepted, a comfort card and also a Beth Ariel contact card and encouraged him to listen to the messages as they shared that their rabbi came from Casablanca, Morocco.
Another set was given to a woman who had a lot of questions about what was going on. As she received an antisemitism tract, she shared that her son was in charge of an organization that deals with antisemitism in the area where she lives. She asked them if they had news from Israel about what was going on and they shared what they knew. As they presented the set to her, they said that she could find all the answers that she was looking for in the Bible. The team spoke about their faith in Yeshua and His two comings, and that peace will come only when the Messiah returns to reign in Jerusalem. They also gave her a comfort card and a contact card so that she could listen to the messages online.
Report from Team #2
5 sets, 1 Tanakh, 1 Brit Chadashah and 1 French Bible were given.
This team of two were at two local malls on this day. At the first place the team had a conversation with a French Canadian who said that he was working with an Israeli company located in Tel Aviv but that his working office was in Chicago. He was in Montreal on business. He told the team that he was very concerned for Israel and told them that he had just received notice on his phone that his building had received notice to seek shelter. He took 2 sets (1 French and 1 English) along with many pamphlets and comfort cards to share with his co-workers and friends. He took the Beth Ariel contact card as well.
They met a Gentile woman who was with her 2 daughters. She said she was not Jewish but did work with the Jewish community. The team explained why they were there and that they wanted to offer the Word to the Jewish community and to tell them about Yeshua, their Messiah. After a short discussion about the messianic viewpoint the woman took a set that she could give to the Jewish community and took a Beth Ariel contact card as well. She was offered a Bible, but she said she had one and was thankful for the set. As it was quiet at that point, the team decided to go to another mall.
At the second mall they met an elderly French man at his car. He accepted the antisemitism pamphlet first and then as the conversation evolved, the team told him that they were Messianic and believed that Yeshua was the Messiah. Briefly describing their faith, they offered him the Tanakh which he took for his wife who was Jewish and then he took another set for his family. He was then shown the Brit Chadashah and he accepted that as well. At that point, the man broke down in tears and told the team that his wife was very ill with cancer. He wept openly and so the team asked if they could pray for her healing through the name of Yeshua. He allowed this prayer and afterwards told them that this meeting was a gift from God. They offered to visit the couple and gave him the Beth Ariel contact card so he could call and request a visit. He left them then not wanting to speak further because of his brokenness.
A young Gentile French man was approached, and he commented that he had just been praying to God before they met and told them that God had sent the team to him. They told him why they were there and that they were volunteers with the SDHS. They spoke of the Messianic viewpoint and then he quoted John 14:6 and said he was in agreement with them! They asked if he had a church community and as he did not, they invited him to join them and the youth group at their congregation and gave him the Beth Ariel contact card. They were given permission to pray for direction for him and afterwards he took a French Bible.
The team then met a Christian woman who worked at a local Jewish chronic care facility. She said that she had a circle of Jewish friends and co-workers around her and so she accepted a set for them. She told the team that she would be seeing them that night and was excited to give it to them. They gave her the contact card as well and she thanked them for what they were doing.
The combined total for these two days outings was: 14 sets, 4 Tanakhs, 1 Brit , 5 Bibles and 2 salvations.
Finally, they want to thank everybody who prays for this ministry and thank God for this beautiful outing and the privilege to be able to share and give His word! Praise God!
