Praise God, two sets plus one Tanakh, pamphlets, comfort cards and pins were given on this beautiful sunny and warm day.

At the first mall a team of two had a conversation with a Muslim man who was in his mid to late 20’s. As they gave him the antisemitism tract, a conversation began regarding the situation in the Middle East. They then changed the topic, sharing and explaining the difference between practicing religion and having a relationship with God through Jesus. They told him that there is only one God and only one way to be reconciled with God and that was through Jesus. They talked about sin and that man cannot make peace by themselves and that only the Messiah will bring peace when Jesus comes back to reign in Jerusalem. They spoke of the love of Jesus, and that was why they were there, to bring him the Good News. They spoke of salvation and the true rest and peace in Jesus regardless of whatever was going on. He was touched and thanked them despite not wanting the Bible but he did take the Beth Ariel contact card and they encouraged him to listen online. It then became quiet so they decided to go to another mall.

At the new mall they met a Jewish woman and as they gave her the comfort card, she asked them what they were doing there. They tried to explain that they were there to bring comfort to the Jewish community but she was not pleased and left, looking back at them a few times.

The first set was given to a young woman in her 30s who was in a hurry. She shared with them that she was half Jewish (her mother comes from Morocco and her dad is Russian). They assured her that she was Jewish. She took the set and all the literature and was very touched when she saw the Scriptures.  As she was offered the yellow hostage pin, she had tears in her eyes.

Another set was given to a Moroccan, Jewish woman. One of the members spoke about her personal faith in Yeshua, and that she was a messianic Jew. They talked about the heart of man and that only God could change it. They mentioned Israel and that only a remnant will be saved, and they shared the passage from Daniel 12: 2: “Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground  will awake, these to everlasting life, but the ones to disgrace and everlasting contempt”.  She was given the Beth Ariel card and was very surprised to hear that the messianic leader from the congregation comes from Morocco. She then asked where the congregation was located and if the women and men were seated separately. They replied that they were a congregation of Jews and Gentiles who worship God, Yeshua, together as one. She said that she drives on Saturdays, but kept kosher.  She was interested in coming to Beth Ariel on a Saturday with a friend of hers and said she was touched by their conviction.

Due to time constraints, they had to leave, but went quickly to another centre and gave one Tanakh to a woman who was with her mother. They received both the antisemitism tract and the comfort card, and encouraged the team saying that it was good what they were doing!

The team thanked God for the beautiful weather, and ended their time praying for the salvation of all those who received literature and sets.
