1 set and 2 Bibles were given.
This team of two went to a shopping mall, where they met an Iranian man who was very kind to them. They spoke about salvation through Yeshua, and he accepted a Bible from them. He listened attentively as they shared the gospel. He also took a Beth Ariel contact card. He returned shortly to ask if he could have another Bible for his co-worker, as he wanted one as well. Together, they joined the co-worker in a conversation about forgiveness of sins and salvation through Jesus. The men were very thankful and were touched by the gift and conversation.
The team had been just handing out pamphlets, but then they met a Jewish woman whose son was an Orthodox Jew. She accepted the Purim pamphlet and comfort card from them.
They met an Orthodox Jewish man dressed in his traditional black garments and wearing a black kippa. They approached him and offered him a Purim pamphlet and a bookmark, which he accepted. They told him they prayed for the peace of Jerusalem and thanked him for his kindness. He responded with the same remark, which encouraged the team.
The team moved on to a second mall, where they met a woman from Peru. They spoke with her about her current situation in Canada and offered prayer that the Lord would bring her comfort and encouragement. It was a beautiful conversation.
They met a Jewish gentleman who took a Purim pamphlet, a Beth Ariel contact card, and one Tanakh. Happily, they offered him the Brit Chadashah, and he accepted it as well. He was invited to attend their congregation’s Shabbat service, but he stated that he attends a synagogue and would not be able to come. He said he would listen to the teachings online after attending his synagogue.
As it became very quiet at the mall, the team finished then. They were very grateful to all those who prayed for their outing and for God’s faithfulness.

4 sets, 1 Tanakh, and 1 Bible given by this team.
The team reported that they stayed at the same mall for this outing because the place was very busy. They began distributing pamphlets this week for Purim.
The first set in Hebrew/English was given to a Jewish woman, who was very surprised to receive such a nice gift. When they presented the Brit Chadashah, they explained that here she could read about the coming of the Messiah. They spoke about sin and gave her the Isaiah 53 leaflet, encouraging her to read it. They clarified that a person could not be saved by good works but only through the Messiah, Yeshua. She received the Beth Ariel contact card and was encouraged to listen to the messages.
Two sets were given: one in Hebrew/French and the other in Hebrew/English, to a Sephardic Jewish man born in Turkey who had lived in Jerusalem for 10 years. His hands were full of groceries and flowers for his wife of 53 years. When he arrived at his car, they handed him the Purim pamphlet and began a conversation. He confessed that he had been searching for the truth. They responded that God was calling him to Himself and that He had also sent the team to him. They shared that God is constantly calling people to be reconciled with Him through Yeshua. The team members then spoke about their own faith in Yeshua and told him that the truth is in the Word of God. They stated that one can know the Word of God is true by looking to Israel. He agreed with this statement but then asked what they thought of Buddhism and other gods worshipped by the Romans. They showed him the Scriptures where it was clearly written and stated that there is only one God, the God of Israel, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and that He alone is the God for all the nations. They shared that it has always been the minority who believe in the truth and told him that salvation can be found only in Yeshua, and that there can be only one truth. He received the whole set in French/Hebrew for himself and one in Russian/Hebrew for his wife. He was given the Isaiah 53 leaflet and the Beth Ariel card. They encouraged him to call the pastor/rabbi at Beth Ariel if he had any questions or wanted a visit. They encouraged him to seek and ask God to show him the truth. He asked for their names as they parted ways. They were very touched by his humility, gentleness, and openness.
They met a Christian couple who received the Antisemitism pamphlet and the Beth Ariel contact card. They spoke with them about Yeshua being a Jew and about some of the prophecies in the Scriptures concerning Him. They shared the importance of knowing who Yeshua was and the place of Israel in the Scriptures. The wife said, “Good luck,” and they responded that it was God’s work. The husband agreed. The team encouraged them to listen to the messages on the radio or online. Both were touched by the encounter and told the team to go and get warm.
One set in Hebrew/English was given to a Jewish woman, who was deeply touched to receive the Brit Chadashah/the New Testament. She told them she was not religious, so the team shared that God wanted a personal relationship with her and that He wanted her heart, not a religion-based connection. They encouraged her to read and seek the truth in the Scriptures. She was deeply touched and very thankful.
The team was deeply moved by an encounter with a Sephardic Jewish man. He seemed very vulnerable. They gave him an antisemitism pamphlet and offered him a Tanakh in Hebrew/French, telling him it was a gift. He replied that he could not take it and that it was better to give it to someone who was knowledgeable in the Scriptures. The team said the gift was for him and that God was looking at those who were humble in heart. He declined, saying maybe next time, but he gladly took the Beth Ariel card, and they encouraged him to listen to the Word. The team noticed that a man nearby, wearing a kippa, was listening to their conversation while watching them, so they decided to leave.
One Tanakh in Hebrew/French was given to a Jewish man. They offered him the Brit Chadashah, but he declined to accept it. However, he was grateful to receive the Tanakh.
One Bible in French was given to a Gentile man. They handed him an antisemitism pamphlet, but he declined immediately, saying he was for Israel. They rejoiced when they heard him say this and immediately told him they were for Israel as well. He took the pamphlet, and they had a brief conversation. He shared that he was upset about what was going on and that his daughter was listening to the “so-called news.” He told them that she believed a genocide was going on. A team member replied that the truth is found in the Bible. He took a Bible in French along with the Beth Ariel card. They shared the importance of being reconciled with God through Jesus and spoke about sin, the fall of man, the nature of man, and how forgiveness, reconciliation, restoration, and salvation could only be found in Jesus. They shared that salvation is by grace only through faith in Jesus. He accepted a Christian tract. It was a great blessing to hear this man’s love for Israel and the Jewish people.
A religious, Jewish man wearing a kippa and tzitzit received the Purim pamphlet. They offered him the Tanakh because he wanted to see it. However, he returned it to them and said he already had one. As the team returned to their car, one of the team members went back to see him and gave him a bookmark, which he took and began reading.
The team wanted to thank God for the beautiful outing, for His protection, and for all the encounters they had, as well as for all the pamphlets, sets, and conversations on that day.
Praise God!
