On this hot, humid day, two team members were at a local shopping mall when they met a Moroccan Jewish man who seemed enthusiastic upon hearing them speak about the Messiah. He accepted a bookmark, the Beth Ariel contact card, and the antisemitism pamphlet. He was informed that the Brit Chadasha he was holding was a Jewish book written by Jewish men during the Second Temple period who believed Yeshua was the Messiah. He received the set in French/Hebrew and was very appreciative. He was encouraged to call the office to speak with the pastor, Jacques Isaac Gabizon.
They then met a man who was fixing his car. His wife and two children were waiting for him to finish when they approached him. He first took the antisemitism pamphlet and seemed reserved, but when they offered him the New Testament in Arabic, he took it and, upon opening the book, saw that it was written in his language. They saw that he was deeply touched as he put the Scriptures to his chest, so they encouraged him to learn more about Yeshua, the Messiah and High Priest. He then told them that he believed he was indeed the Messiah and was open to hearing more from them about this Messiah. The team told him that their rabbi was from Morocco and that he could call him to discuss Yeshua and the prophets who came before Him. The man was very thankful.
Next, they met a young Jewish man in his thirties who was attending a Jewish school. He said that Orthodox Jews do not believe in Jesus and added that he believed in Ben Joseph and Ben David as representing the Messiah. The team explained that there is only one Messiah, but there will be two comings. The first time He appeared as the suffering servant, as seen in Isaiah 53, and He will come back to reign in Jerusalem. The team encouraged him to know with certainty that Yeshua was the Jewish Messiah. He replied that he had nothing against Yeshua, and the team responded that Jesus came for the Jewish people first and told him about the time Jesus wept for Jerusalem. They quoted Matthew 23:37, “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as her hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!” A team member also spoke about Leviticus 17:11 and how, through blood atonement, one’s sins can be forgiven. Hearing this, the young man said that once he got a car, he would be willing to come to Beth Ariel to visit. He took the bookmark and Beth Ariel contact card as well, and the team encouraged him to come for a visit and to “come and see – the Messiah”. He was very thankful.
Another man, who was Christian, spoke with the team for quite a while about assurance of salvation and re-dedication. They then prayed together on this topic, and everyone was encouraged. The team said they had a nice conversation and that he was very tender-hearted.
Then they met a beautiful Jewish lady who had her two daughters with her. She was very religious but accepted the antisemitism pamphlet, the comfort card, and the Beth Ariel contact card. Approximately 50 pamphlets were distributed on this day as well.
The team was very thankful to have met some people in the humid heat and was also very thankful for the prayers and the cloud cover the Lord provided to bring some relief.
August 6th and 7th, 2026

August 6th, 2026
4 sets and other literature were given.
A team of two women was at a local shopping mall that day. The first set in French/Hebrew was given to a Jewish man from Morocco. He received the antisemitism pamphlet, the comfort card, and the Isaiah 53 leaflet. When they mentioned they had a gift for him, he replied that it was OK. However, they insisted and spoke about the importance of returning to the Word of God. He accepted the whole set as they explained what the Brit Chadashah was. They encouraged him to seek the truth and to listen to the messages on the internet as they handed him the Beth Ariel card.
One set in French/Hebrew was given to a Jewish mom with three children, the youngest still in the car as they approached her. She received all the literature and the entire set, and they spoke to her about sin and righteousness, explaining that righteousness could be imputed to her through the Messiah, Yeshua. She was very receptive and accepted the Scriptures, so they encouraged her to seek the truth and listen to the messages. She was very thankful for the gifts and kept encouraging the team, saying that what they were doing was good. She took her four-month-old baby boy out of the car to show him to the ladies, and they said he was adorable and kept smiling. They told her that children were a gift from God, and she completely agreed. She was very appreciative and kind.
The team then met a handsome, nineteen-year-old man accompanied by his younger brother. He shared that he was from Ukraine. He received the antisemitism pamphlet, and as they began speaking with him, he shared that he was a Christian and had come to faith in Jesus one year ago. It was wonderful to see this young man’s love for God and His Word. He shared that he did not believe in religion but told them how he became a born-again Christian. He was very happy to hear that one of the members was a Jewish believer. He shared that he had recently watched videos from Israel in which Jewish believers were sharing the Word with rabbinical Jews. They explained the difference between rabbinical and biblical Judaism. He stated that he was not going to church and that his father had stopped attending church as well because he saw that the church was teaching faith plus works, which was contrary to the Word of God. They gave him the Beth Ariel contact card and explained what a Messianic church was. He replied that he would come to visit them and that he was happy to have met them, and the team thought the same of him.
One set in French/Hebrew was given to a Jewish, Moroccan woman who shared that her mother was Jewish. She received the antisemitism pamphlet, and when the Tanakh was presented as a gift, she became very emotional and took the entire set. She told them she did not believe in religion but agreed that it was God’s desire to have a relationship with people, in the heart of a person. They discussed sin and handed her the Isaiah 53 leaflet. They read passages from the leaflet and showed her how the Messiah could remove one’s sin (since no good work can make a person approach God, who is holy). They emphasized that one could be saved by faith through grace alone and shared the passage in Habakkuk 2:4: “The just shall live by faith.” They explained who a Jew is and the difference between rabbinical and biblical Judaism. She followed the entire conversation and was very attentive. They invited her to visit Beth Ariel, gave her the card, and encouraged her to listen to the messages and to call or e-mail the office if she had questions. The team stressed the importance of seeking the truth, and she was very thankful for the gift.
One set in French/Hebrew was given to a Moroccan man, who received the entire set and the literature. They had a brief conversation with him while his wife waited. He was very humble and grateful for the gifts.
The team thanked God for the wonderful outing and for the wide-open doors to share and give His precious and Holy Word.
August 7th, 2026
2 sets and 2 Bibles were given along with many long conversations.
A different team was out that day, and one set in English/Hebrew was given to a Filipino woman. She shared that she was a caregiver for a Jewish couple who were not religious but would be very happy to receive the gifts of a Tanakh and a Brit Chadashah. She was surprised that such a gift was being offered. They placed an antisemitism pamphlet in the gift bag, along with the comfort card and the Beth Ariel contact card. They offered her a Bible, but she said she already had one. She shared that she was Catholic and was sharing her faith with her employer. The team talked to her about their faith and explained that God wants a relationship with people and their hearts. They gave her the Beth Ariel card and encouraged her to read and listen to the messages. They invited her to visit Beth Ariel, but she told them she worked on Saturdays.
A Bible in French was given to a man born in Quebec. He received an antisemitism pamphlet and immediately accepted a Bible when it was offered to him. As they began a conversation with him, he shared that he was a Catholic and had a statue of Jesus belonging to his wife. They explained that no one can make an image of God, as it is forbidden in the Bible because God is holy. They shared the gospel with him and asked whether he wanted to receive Jesus as his personal Savior. He was not ready to do so, so they gave him a tract and encouraged him to seek the truth in the Bible. They gave him the Beth Ariel card and told him he could listen to the messages online. He was very thankful.
The team had a long conversation with an Italian Catholic man who, after receiving the antisemitism pamphlet, said he loved the Jewish people. He was very happy to hear that one of the members was Jewish and that she believed Yeshua was the Messiah. He told them he had met a Jewish believer and called him “the Isaiah 53 man” because the believer had shared Isaiah 53 with him. He said he never saw him again and wondered whether the man had been the angel he had met. He told the team that while he was praying yesterday, he had seen a shooting star. They shared the gospel with him and invited him to come to Beth Ariel. They gave him the congregation’s business card and encouraged him to listen to the messages online. They shook hands, then turned to leave.
The team gave an antisemitism pamphlet and a comfort card to a very elegant, Jewish, Moroccan woman, but she declined the Tanakh. As the team spoke with her, a Jewish couple was listening and wanted to see the antisemitism pamphlet in Hebrew. The wife asked them right away whether they were missionaries, and a team member shared that she was Jewish and believed that Yeshua was the Messiah, as He fulfilled the prophecies (written in the Tanakh) of His first coming. The woman handed the pamphlet back, and the team member said it was truly important to know who Yeshua was, stating that He was not the same Messiah as portrayed by false religions and false Christians. The team member also shared that her father, who was Jewish, had been taught by rabbinical teachings that they, the children, were not Jewish because her mother was not Jewish, which is contrary to what the Holy Scriptures teach. They gave the example of Moses and Joseph, who did not marry Jewish women, and their children were Jewish. The team members stressed the importance of staying in the Tanakh. The woman then told her to “come back to the fold”. At that point, a very religious woman came out of the bank, insulted the team members, and said they were leading others astray as she spoke about the Mosaic law. The team members shared the importance of reading the Nevi’im and the Ketuvim, the whole counsel of God. At this, the woman and the couple left. The Moroccan woman they had initially been speaking with was still there, very calm, and kept all the literature.
One English Bible was given to a young Persian woman. The team had a long conversation with her. She shared that she was not following any religion but was open to different “spiritual experiences.” They shared the gospel with her, explaining that there is only one truth, found in the Bible, and that the only way to God is through Jesus Christ, as they quoted John 14:6. They invited her to visit Beth Ariel and gave her the antisemitism pamphlet and the Beth Ariel contact card.
One set in Hebrew/French was given to a Jewish Moroccan man they had met a while ago. Since then, he has received four or five sets, which he has given to his Jewish friends. One team member has been keeping in touch with him regularly, but on that day they met him unexpectedly while he was accompanying a friend to the bank and the store. He stopped by and started a conversation with them while his friend ran errands. One team member, who is not Jewish, spoke with him in Hebrew, as she is learning the language. He was about to leave when he asked for another set to give to a friend. They gave him the set and slipped an antisemitism pamphlet, the comfort card, and the Beth Ariel card inside as well. The team member shared that she enjoyed speaking with him in Hebrew and told him that they would, God willing, set up a time to have coffee with him.
Please pray for the salvation of A and everyone they met. It was a wonderful outing. We thank God for all the conversations we had and for the Scriptures given. Praise the Lord!
Team 2 on August 7th, 2026

This team of two women was also out on the same day, but at a different shopping mall. After handing out several antisemitism pamphlets, the team met a couple at their car, with their children inside. They offered them an antisemitism pamphlet and engaged them in a conversation about Jesus being the way, the truth, and the life, and about how God wanted a personal relationship with them. They spoke about the forgiveness of sins, that salvation was through Jesus alone, not through works, and that it was by faith through grace that one could receive salvation. They also spoke about the crucifixion of Jesus and how He was raised up for the forgiveness of all man’s sins. The couple said they were Catholic and that the wife’s father would come to their home to read the Bible with the children. They were offered a Bible, which they accepted, and were happy to have a conversation with the team about Jesus.
They then met a Persian woman who said she was concerned about antisemitism in the world, loved the Jewish people, and was pro-Israel. She said that years ago she had lived in a Jewish community, was immersed in the culture, and had a very close Jewish friend. The team spoke about Jesus as the Messiah, about receiving salvation by accepting Jesus as her Lord and Savior, and about His death on the cross for her sins. She agreed with what she was told and was deeply touched. A team member said she could see the Holy Spirit had touched her and asked the woman if she would like to receive Jesus as her Lord by praying a prayer of repentance and forgiveness. She agreed willingly, and a team member prayed with her as she repeated the words. They then prayed again for her Jewish friend, for her country, and for Israel. While praying, she grabbed a team member’s hand very tightly and afterward said she was amazed that God had brought the team and her together. She accepted a Bible for herself and a gift set for her friend. She was given the Beth Ariel contact card and told to go online to listen to the teachings. She was very thankful.
The team then met a woman with whom they had a long conversation. They talked about the gospel, salvation, and the words found in John 14:6. They then spoke about the political situation, which she appeared to be more interested in, especially regarding the Jewish nation. The team told her that the world situation was purely a spiritual war taking place and that it was important for her to read the word so she would understand and know the time and season. She acknowledged that there was antisemitism but said she was more political than spiritual in nature. She did thank the team for the conversation, however.
This team was very thankful for the prayers lifted up on their behalf, as the day was very humid and very quiet, with very few Jewish people out and about.
