HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED HOW YOU MIGHT SUPPORT ISRAEL?
Economically, we support them by visiting the land, staying in their hotels, and shopping in their markets.
Spiritually, we express our solidarity by being present, telling Israelis how much we love the Word and her people.
Relationally, we show support by getting to know the land, its history, and its people more personally: visiting museums and historic sites.
We stand up against anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism by going there and affirming our solidarity with the people. What does this do for us personally? It puts Scripture into a sharper, more life-like focus, and therefore, we are transformed by the experience. Once we return, we will be more informed advocates because of all we have learned. We can also correct misinformation and disinformation, both very prevalent today.
There are many ways to support Israel. Travelling there is one way. But may we suggest another way you can support this land and its people? Might you consider financially supporting someone (partially or fully) so that they can go? If you would be interested in helping a believer who is unable to finance their entire trip to Israel, you may consider this as a “mission” of sorts, since their experience in the Land would accomplish the purposes mentioned above.
We would like to establish a fund and interview candidates who love the Word of God, the Land of Israel, and its people.
We believe a trip like this would have a significant impact on their personal lives and on the lives of those they will one day influence.
