A team of two went out and thanked God for the two sets given. It was quiet when the team started, but it became busier later.
One set in French/Hebrew was given to a Gentile Catholic woman married to a Jewish man. She received the Scriptures and all the literature, along with the Beth Ariel card. The team members explained that the Tanakh is the Old Testament and the Brit Chadashah is the New Testament, and that together they make up the Bible. One of the members shared that she was a Messianic Jew and her faith in Yeshua, Jesus. She thanked us for the gift.
One set in French/Hebrew was given to a Jewish couple. The husband is from Casablanca, Morocco. He shared that he loves Morocco and that they often go on vacation there. They received the literature, and when the team members offered the set, they were very surprised to receive such a gift. As the team members began a conversation with them, they said they were waiting for the Messiah. One team member shared that she was Messianic. They discussed the New Covenant spoken by the prophet Jeremiah in Chapter 31, how the Mosaic Law was conditional and temporary, and how there was no longer a Temple for sacrifices for sins. The team members gave them the Isaiah 53 leaflet and spoke about Yeshua, the suffering Servant, His sacrifice, and how forgiveness of sins can now be obtained through God’s grace and by faith in Yeshua, the Messiah. They quoted Habakkuk 2:4 and explained that righteousness has always been through faith and not by works, pointing to Abraham as a clear example. They explained the difference between rabbinical and biblical Judaism, and the couple understood the importance of staying in the Scriptures. The team members spoke about the rising antisemitism and about recognizing these signs as Jacob’s trouble coming soon. They spoke about the Holocaust and how one-third of the Jewish people died, and pointed to Zechariah 13:8, that two-thirds of the Jewish people will die during that time. The team members spoke about the importance of seeking the truth for themselves, quoting Amos 5:4, “Seek Me and live.” They were a lovely couple, very attentive and grateful. Before leaving, they told the team members that “it was great what they were doing.”
The team thanked God for all the conversations they had, the pamphlets they distributed, and the sets they distributed. They thanked Him for His protection and faithfulness.
Praise the Lord!

Four sets and one Brit Chadashah were given, along with pamphlets and the conversations.
One set in English/Hebrew was given to a Jewish man who received the whole set and all the literature. He was very thankful.
One Brit Chadashah in English/Hebrew was given to a very elegant Jewish woman. The team members started a conversation about antisemitism. She shared that when her grandmother heard that a particular Jewish man was not being treated in hospitals in Montreal because of antisemitism, her grandmother told her family she was going to build a hospital, which is now the Jewish Hospital, which welcomes not only Jewish people but all people. She also shared that she has two sons who are surgeons in New York and that they are surprised by the rising antisemitism. She told them there was a time in her life when there was no antisemitism. The team members responded that antisemitism has existed since the creation of Israel, giving an example: Pharaoh wanting to kill the baby boys at the time of Moses. The team members shared that when she did not feel antisemitism, it was a time when it was “dormant,” but that it is always there. The team members shared the biblical definition of who is a Jew. She received the Brit Chadashah (she already had a Tanakh), and the team members explained that the book was written by Jewish men who believed Yeshua was the Messiah, and that she could read about the coming of the Messiah, the Messiah’s genealogy, and the atonement for sin she can have through Yeshua. They encouraged her to read and spoke about God’s love and how He seeks to save. She was very attentive and open to sharing. The team members were deeply touched by the encounter, and they both hugged her before leaving.
The team members spoke with an orthodox Jewish man. They shared their faith in Yeshua. He responded that he did not believe Yeshua is the Messiah because there is no peace in the world. The team members shared that He came first to reconcile men to God, explaining that all men are sinners and need to be reconciled to God. He shared that no one can know who the Messiah is. They said God does not speak in secret and shared that God has provided prophecies in the Tanakh so one can recognize Him. He did not want to take the pamphlet because the name of God was written on the document. The team members asked him to read Isaiah 53 in his Tanakh, and he said he had already read it. They shared the importance of staying in the Holy Scriptures, as it is God’s Word.
One set in English/Hebrew was given to a Jewish woman. She was happy and open to receiving the Scriptures. She was attentive throughout the conversation and understood the times they were living in. The team members shared their faith in Yeshua and explained how salvation can be found in Him. She was in a hurry, though, as she had to go home to care for her sick child. The team members said they would pray for him. They encouraged her to seek the truth. It was a great joy to meet her. She was very thankful.
One set in English/Hebrew was given to a Jewish man. He was very surprised to receive such a gift. The team members spoke about sin and quoted Psalm 51 and the sinful nature of man as they handed him the Isaiah 53 passage. They shared with him that the Messiah could make him tsadik. He responded, “Wow.” He received all the literature and was very grateful and thankful.
One set in French/Hebrew was given to a Jewish Moroccan woman from Casablanca. They encouraged her to read and listen to the messages, which addressed antisemitism, sin, and eternal life. She was very humble, had a gentle countenance, was attentive, and was very thankful.
The team thanked God for the wide-open doors and hearts that receive His Word. Praise the Lord!

Five sets, one Brit Chadashah plus one Bible, were distributed, along with pamphlets and conversations.
The team gave a Moroccan Jewish woman from Casablanca a French/Hebrew set. They discussed sin and the righteousness obtainable through the Messiah. They also discussed the time of Jacob’s trouble mentioned in the book of Jeremiah. They addressed the slogan “Never again” related to the Holocaust but noted that antisemitism is still growing. They explained that only the Messiah can bring peace and end antisemitism. When the team members offered the set, the woman was unsure about the Brit Chadashah but decided to take it and said she would read it. She was very thankful.
One set in English /Hebrew was given to a Jewish man who was very thankful and grateful to receive this beautiful gift.
One Brit Chadashah was given to a religious man wearing a kippa and dressed in black. He was with a young boy, about ten years old, who also wore a kippa. The team members started a conversation, and one of them shared that she was a Messianic Jew. They had a great conversation as the team members asked him questions. The man believed he could be justified by good works. They asked which passages of Holy Scripture he based this belief on. He did not know how to answer. The team members shared that justification is always by faith alone, quoting Habakkuk 2:4, “The just shall live by faith.” They spoke about the fall of man, the prophecy in Genesis 3:15 about the Messiah to come, and how Adam and Eve believed in the promise. They shared the passage in Leviticus 17:11 about blood atonement, Yom Kippur, and how there is no longer a Temple. They handed him the Isaiah 53 leaflet and shared that the Messiah can make one tsadik, and that rabbis of the early centuries believed this passage spoke about the Messiah. The team members offered him the Brit Chadashah, as he already had a Tanakh. He hesitated for a split second and then received the Brit Chadashah!
The team gave an English Bible to a man born in Brazil and shared the gospel with him. He was very attentive and deeply touched. The team members noticed him smiling as he heard the Good News. He received a tract and a Bible and was very touched and thankful.
The team spoke with a Gentile Orthodox Lebanese man who received the antisemitism pamphlet. He said he thought what was going on was terrible. One team member shared her faith in Yeshua/Jesus and explained that she was Jewish. The team members shared the Messianic viewpoint with him. He received the Isaiah 53 tract. When the team members read parts of Isaiah 53, he was shocked and very surprised to hear the prophecy. The team members encouraged him to read his Bible. The man was so kind to the team members; he kept blessing them and said what they were doing was great.
The team gave a French/Hebrew set to a Moroccan Jewish woman. She was very surprised to receive the Brit Chadashah but took the whole set after the team explained what the Brit Chadashah was and their faith in Yeshua, the Messiah. She said she would give the set to her son, who is very religious. They asked her if she wanted another set for her son. She told the team members they could share. She was very thankful.
As the team members were about to leave, they handed out two French/Hebrew sets to two separate Jewish women, both of whom were very grateful and pleased with the gift. The team members had brief conversations with each of them.
They thanked God for the wonderful outing, with nonstop conversations throughout. They also thanked God for the openness of almost all they met to receive the Word.
Praise the Lord!

Second Team’s Report
One set, two Tanakhs, one Brit Chadashah, and one prayer of repentance/salvation. Many conversations took place, and some pamphlets were distributed.
The team had a long conversation with a Spanish woman who understood the need for blood atonement and recognized Jesus as the means of that salvation. She said afterward that she would come to the congregation.
The team then had a long conversation with a lovely couple. The wife was very attentive and shared with the team her personal struggle with her faith. The team shared John 3:16 and encouraged them both to read the Scriptures, particularly the Book of John. They also shared the plan of salvation with this couple.
The team met a very polite Jewish Polish gentleman who was reserved and kind. He seemed shy about accepting the Bible set, but they assured him it was a free gift and nourishing for his soul. He became very thankful and accepted the set with much gratitude.
The team then met a very nice Jewish gentleman. He was very pleased to receive the Tanakh and thankful as well.
After that, the team met a young religious Jewish man wearing a kippa and tzitzit. He was deeply touched when they presented the Tanakh and finally decided to accept it. He did so with a thankful heart.
One of the team members then met a Jewish man wearing a kippah and tzitzit, someone she had met earlier. They had a long, wonderful conversation about Messiah Yeshua and His two comings (comparing that with the traditional Messiah Ben Joseph and Ben David). They also discussed early rabbinic teaching, referencing Isaiah 53 and how the Messiah was understood to suffer. He was very attentive and deeply touched by the conversation.
Thank you all for praying.
Isaiah 26:3 and Matthew 5:9
