2 sets and 1 Brit Chadashah were given. There was also many conversations and pamphlets given.
On this particular day, a team of two was at a local shopping mall. One Brit Chadashah was given to a Jewish man. As the team handed him the antisemitism pamphlet, he shared that he had written an article on antisemitism for a local Jewish organization. They asked if he was a journalist, and he said he was only a concerned Jew. They explained that antisemitism is described in the Holy Scriptures as an “eternal hatred” because it is a spiritual hatred. They told him this hatred had existed since the creation of Israel, and he was surprised to hear that. They gave him an example of Moses and how Pharaoh wanted to kill the Hebrew newborn males. The man remembered this and nodded in agreement. He understood that Israel was a nation. They offered him the Tanakh, but he declined, as he already had one. He accepted the Brit Chadashah while they spoke about Yeshua as the Messiah and how he could read about His genealogy. They shared how Yeshua fulfilled the prophecies of His first coming as recorded in the Tanakh. They handed him the Isaiah 53 leaflet to read and spoke about sin and how one can obtain righteousness through Yeshua. They gave him the Beth Ariel card and encouraged him to seek the truth, as everything is written in the Tanakh. He was very attentive and interested in reading and seeking the truth, and he was very kind and received all the literature. They were deeply touched by their encounter with M.
One set in Russian/Hebrew was given to a Russian couple who were very excited to receive the Scriptures in their own language. The team had a brief conversation with them and shared how precious the Word of God is. The couple received the Isaiah 53 leaflet in Russian and were encouraged to read the entire passage. They also received the antisemitism pamphlet, the comfort card, and the Beth Ariel contact card, and were very thankful. They encouraged the team to continue their work before they left, and they all shook hands. The team said they were very touched by this endearing couple and saw their desire to receive the Scriptures and their regard for them as precious.
One set in English/Hebrew was given to a Jewish man. When the team handed him the antisemitism pamphlet, he asked if they were “Jews for Jesus.” They replied that they believed Yeshua was the Messiah, as do Jews for Jesus, but that they were not part of that organization. They asked if he was from the Jewish community, and he shared that his mother was Jewish. They gave him a set, which he gladly accepted, and he shared that he had been a Jehovah’s Witness before but was no longer part of that organization. He spoke with them about his past, which had been very hard, yet he showed no bitterness or anger. He shared that he was a believer and had made Jesus his Savior! This touched the team, and they gave him the Beth Ariel card and encouraged him to listen to the messages or visit Beth Ariel. He smiled at the team and was very thankful.
The team thanked God for the wonderful outing, for the wide-open doors to share and give the Word, and for the wide-open hearts to receive it. They also thanked everyone who is praying for this ministry!

Before the outing officially began, one of the team members met a Jewish, Moroccan man named “A” who had previously received a set. Since then, he has been giving other sets to his friends and acquaintances. This team member has been keeping in touch with A, and they arranged to meet during this outing because he wanted a set in English/Hebrew for one of his sons who lives in the United States. He received the set and was very thankful. The team member then asked him whether he was reading the Brit Chadashah, and he replied that he was reading some passages. At the end of their conversation, they arranged to meet with him again with another team member, God willing, next week for coffee.
One set in English/Hebrew was given to a Jewish woman. When they handed her the antisemitism pamphlet, she responded that someone else had offered it to her, but she had not taken it. She then asked what it was about and decided to accept it, the comfort card, the Beth Ariel contact card, and the whole set.
One set in English/Hebrew was given to a very elegant Jewish woman. She shared that she did not have a Tanakh, and the team explained how important it was for her to have the Scriptures. She did not hesitate, accepted the entire set with great gratitude, and noted that the timing was perfect, as the Jewish High Holidays were approaching. The team shared their faith in Yeshua and spoke about sin and righteousness found only in the Messiah, Yeshua. She also took the Isaiah 53 leaflet and was very thankful.
One set in English/Hebrew was given to a Jewish couple. As the team spoke with her, her husband was putting the groceries into the trunk. She accepted the antisemitism pamphlet and the comfort card, and when the team offered the Tanakh, she said she did not have the money. The team immediately confirmed it was a gift, and she gladly took the whole set and handed it to her husband to put in the trunk of their car. The team observed that the woman was very weak and seemed sad when they approached her, but they were happy to see her smile and gave her a hug before leaving.
One set in English/Hebrew was given to another Jewish couple. When they offered the antisemitism pamphlet and started a conversation, his wife, who came from Casablanca, went to sit in the car. They had a long conversation with her husband about antisemitism around the world and gave him the pamphlet on antisemitism. They mentioned the saying that appeared after the Holocaust, “Never again.” They explained that this hatred, defined in the Tanakh as an “everlasting hatred,” was still present and growing. They explained that men cannot make or bring about peace, and that only when the Messiah returns to reign in Jerusalem will global peace appear. Then they spoke about the importance of being reconciled to God and about sin and righteousness that come through the Messiah, Yeshua. They gave him the Isaiah 53 leaflet and encouraged him to read the whole passage in the Tanakh as they opened the Hebrew Scriptures and inserted the leaflet inside. They told him how the life of a person in this world is described in the Bible as a vapor, and about eternity. They shared the passage in Habakkuk 2:4, “the righteous man shall live by faith,” and mentioned God’s holiness and how no one could approach God by his “good work.” The team told him that one can be saved by grace through faith only. He followed the entire conversation, agreed with everything said, and stated that he was grateful. He also received a comfort card and the Beth Ariel card.
One set in French/Hebrew was given right away to a young Jewish woman who received the Scriptures. She mentioned that her friends had just returned from Israel and were very excited. The team shared their faith in Yeshua and presented her with the Brit Chadashah. They explained that she could read about the coming of the Messiah, and as they discussed His genealogy, they spoke of the fulfillment of the prophecies in the Tanakh for His first coming. The team shared that He will come back to reign in Jerusalem, as there are still other prophecies to be fulfilled. They talked about Yom Kippur, which was coming soon, animal sacrifices, and the need for blood atonement of sins. They quoted Leviticus 17:11 and explained that there is no more Temple in Jerusalem. They told her about Yeshua being the final sacrifice for sins as they handed her the Isaiah 53 leaflet, spoke about the righteousness she can have through the Messiah, and explained the importance of prophecies. She was smiling the whole time and attentive to what was being said. They handed her the Beth Ariel card and encouraged her to read and listen to the messages. She was very thankful and grateful.
The team distributed many pamphlets and had many other conversations. They thanked God for the wide-open doors and hearts of all they met, and prayed for their salvation.

2 sets, 2 Tanakh, and 1 Bible were given.
One member, who was on her own because the other two were in another part of the shopping area, gave one set to a Polish woman who said she loved the Jewish people. The member reported having a pleasant conversation that included a few words about the Jewish Messiah. The woman was willing to take a set for her Jewish friend and was very thankful.
A second set was given to an Iranian couple who stated that they truly loved the Lord and believed in Him. They explained that they lived in a Jewish community and that many people lived in their building. They accepted the set with thanks and said they would offer it to a Jewish friend. They received a Bible for themselves and were very touched when the member told them that Jesus was the way, the truth, and the life.
One Tanakh was given to an Ashkenazi woman who was grateful to receive the Hebrew Scriptures.
Another lady, who was very religious and met by the member, was surprised to receive an antisemitism pamphlet and a bookmark, but she was thankful for the gift.
There was a conversation with a man who said he was antisemitic but acknowledged that evil and good exist. They discussed parts of the Bible, and he listened as she told him he could read about this salvation in John 14:6, which states that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. She stated that the conversation ended well.
She then met a man who said he was from France. She began a conversation about Jesus, but just then his relative arrived, wearing a kippa. He took the pamphlet from the man, read it, said it was about Jesus, and politely returned it to the member.
This member then joined another team member, and together they met a Jewish lady who accepted a Tanakh and was surprised to be offered a free gift. They spoke with her about Isaiah 53, and the conversation was pleasant. They also offered her the Brit Chadashah, but she said she wanted to stay with the Tanakh.
They had another conversation with two ladies about politics, but the ladies were not interested in speaking about Jesus.
