1 set and 1 Brit Chadashah were given.
A team of two women was out on this day, and at the first mall they reported that one Brit Chadashah was given to a Jewish man who was in a hurry. They had also offered him the Tanakh but He said he already had one. He received the antisemitism pamphlet and the Beth Ariel card while thanking them.
They met a Jewish man who had already received the antisemitism pamphlet and a gift set. They asked him if he was reading the books and he replied that he was. They also asked him if he was listening to the messages on the internet, and he said that he had sometimes done so. They then encouraged him to continue to seek the truth. He had a very nice countenance and was very polite and thankful for the literature he had received.
The team then went to another mall, where one set in English/Hebrew was given to a Jewish man. He was very happy to receive the Scriptures, and they had a conversation about sin and the righteousness found in Yeshua, the Messiah. They handed him the Isaiah 53 leaflet and discussed the Jewishness of the Messiah. They explained that the genealogy of Yeshua in the Brit Chadashah (New Testament) was written by Jewish men who believed Yeshua was the Messiah. They also gave him the comfort card and the Beth Ariel contact card. He was very thankful.
A Jewish woman, accompanied by her caregiver, received the antisemitism pamphlet and the Beth Ariel card. They spoke to her about their faith in Yeshua/Jesus, the two comings of the Messiah, and sin and the righteousness found in the Messiah.
At another mall, they met a Jewish man who said he knew everything about antisemitism when they offered him the pamphlet. He shared that he was Chabad, and one of the team members shared that she did not follow rabbinical Judaism but biblical Judaism. The team explained the difference between religion and having a personal relationship with God, and how one can be reconciled to Him through the Messiah. They told him this while speaking about sin. They handed him the Isaiah 53 leaflet and read some of the passages with him. He asked them why they were doing this, and they explained the importance of returning to the Word of God. They shared that everything a person needs to know can be found in the Scriptures, and that through the Scriptures, one can understand what is going on in the world regarding antisemitism, sin, and salvation. He responded, saying that he believed and followed the Oral law. In reply, they stated that the Oral law was given much later and written by Jewish men, whereas the Scriptures were inspired by God’s breath. They shared the importance of staying in the Scriptures and explained that when someone is not in the Word of God, that person will remain spiritually blind. They shared that this was what happened when Yeshua came, and how the majority of the religious leaders did not recognize Him as the Messiah. They shared that it was always the minority who believed, believes, or will believe in the truth. The man received the comfort card, the antisemitism pamphlet and the Isaiah 53 leaflet but did not accept the set.
The team spoke to another Jewish man who said he kept the traditions of the elders and the words of the rabbis. When they spoke about Yeshua/Jesus, he became offended, remarked that they were the ones who were antisemitic, and began questioning one of the team members because she was Jewish. They stopped the conversation then because they saw that the man had become more troubled and agitated. He did, however, receive the antisemitism pamphlet.

This team of two had a praise report before beginning their outreach day. As one team member was being picked up by the other, heavy rain began to pour, so they prayed and, applying the armor of God, declared they would continue in Jesus’s name. While driving, two other team members called to ask if they were all right and whether they planned to continue in light of the weather. They all prayed together. Upon arriving at the mall, the rain suddenly stopped, and before long the sun began to shine. They were so thankful and stated that God had answered their prayers.
The first set was given to a Jewish couple who were very thankful for the gift. They first received the antisemitism pamphlet and contact card, then accepted the Tanakh, followed by the Brit Chadashah.
A Tanakh was given to a Jewish couple from New York. After the woman left their car and walked directly to the mall, the husband stayed behind and was met by the team. He was offered the pamphlet, which he accepted, and the team then began to speak to him about the Word of God and how antisemitism is addressed in the Tanakh. He was then offered the Tanakh but was uncertain whether to take it. After continuing the conversation with them, he decided to take the Scriptures. The team continued to speak to him and brought up the subject of Yeshua being the Messiah, asking if he would like to have the Brit Chadashah as well. He declined this offer but did take the Tanakh, bookmark, pamphlet, and contact card.
The team then met a very religious Jewish man wearing a kippah. The team began to speak to him about Yeshua, and the conversation lasted about thirty minutes. When the team mentioned the name of their rabbi, Jacques Gabizon, the man told them that he knew their rabbi’s brother. He spoke strongly about his faith and about the Zohar, the Kabbalah, and the rabbinic viewpoint. They tried to bring the conversation back to the Messiah, the prophets and prophecy regarding the Messiah, as well as the subject of the blood atonement and the forgiveness of sins. They spoke to him about having only one life, after which would come judgment. He told them that mitzvot and good works would get him into heaven, but the team stressed that Yeshua, the Messiah, is referred to in Leviticus 17:11, where one can understand that “It is the blood given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible,” and that Yeshua was seen as the Lamb of God. Continuing, a member said that Yeshua was the pure atonement and sacrifice required and that He had already fulfilled this demand. He took the pamphlet and contact card, and they encouraged him to get in touch with their pastor and speak more on this subject. He was invited to visit the congregation, but he said he was not able to do that as it was on Shabbat. He did say that he was interested in knowing more about the Wednesday Bible studies, and the team hopes that he will eventually visit them.
A set was given to a Jewish man from Romania who was of retirement age. He shared that he had gone to Israel and had his bar mitzvah there. They presented the Tanakh to him, which he accepted, and then asked if he would like to take the Brit Chadashah as well. They explained that the Brit was a Jewish book written by Jewish men who believed that Yeshua was the Messiah. They showed him that there were some 92 references from the Tanakh in the first book and encouraged him to read the Scriptures. He took the contact card, the antisemitism pamphlet, and the gift set, and he was very thankful. He gave them a blessing then and said that he saw how passionate the team was about their faith in Yeshua and the Word of God, and that this had really touched his heart. A team member shared the Shema with him and said that the Lord was echad. He was very thankful for the gift.
The team stated that they were very grateful that God had heard and answered their prayer and stopped the rain that day, and were also thankful for the wonderful conversations that they had had.
