A team of two went to the park early Sunday afternoon. They offered tracts on anti-Semitism to those who looked Jewish to them. It’s sure not easy to discern because people are wearing masks, so the Spirit needs to lead.
They had one longer conversation with a couple of Jewish gentlemen sitting and talking on a bench. They both took the tract and asked why the team was handing them out. They praised the two women for going out to spread the Word, even though the idea was to point out that when Messiah comes, anti-Semitism will finally come to an end. One of the men wanted the leaflet of Talmudic commentary on Isaiah 53, and was happy to have a bookmark on messianic prophecy so they would know how to recognize the Messiah from the Tanakh. But they declined the offer of the Scripture books, saying they would not take the time to read them. May the Lord make them thirsty and awaken them to their need of permanent atonement.
A Jewish woman said she wanted nothing from the team when she heard the congregation was Messianic.
The team spoke to a Scottish man who was enjoying the sun and offered him a tract on new life, since he was planted directly behind a large bed of blooming tulips.
Most people that day refused the offer of literature, but in all, around 8 tracts were given in English and 4 or 5 in French. May those who received them take to heart what is written.
Please continue to pray for the Lord’s work to be done through the different teams in Montreal, Calgary, and Buffalo.
